Our Story
Dhillon’s Brewery is located in the heart of the Midlands in Coventry, an award-winning microbrewery with a rich and dynamic story. It was founded in 2015 by Mr. Dhillon, who dreamt of brewing beautifully crafted beer. He was joined by Pedro, the head brewer with extensive experience in the brewing industry, and Gordon, who took control of sales and marketing. Together, we have embarked on a journey to produce them most exciting and beautifully crafted ales with a hint of madness, using a mix of traditional and modern brewing methods.
The brewery is deeply committed to its local community in Coventry. We sponsor local sports clubs and champion university initiatives, and we also focus on sustainability by supplying local farms with grains for cattle feed and using biodegradable materials. Dhillon’s Brewery also serves as the official Coventry City FC Fans’ Village and has shown support for the football club in various ways.
In addition to the microbrewery, we also have another location in the City Centre, Dhillon’s Spire Bar, located in one of Coventry’s most historic buildings. The Spire Bar offers a selection of bespoke cocktails, craft beers, and Coventry’s premier street food, along with a variety of events showcasing local musicians and artisans.
Our third location is an iconic collaboration with Coventry City Football club saw the birth of The Sky Blue Tavern in the heart of the City Centre. The Sky Blue Tavern is drenched in Coventry City history that will take you on a nostalgic walk down memory lane. Football not your thing? That’s okay – whilst football has a special place here at the Sky Blue Tavern, this is a place where we celebrate and show the glory of all sports! The Sky Blue Tavern is the official Sports Bar of Coventry City Football Club.
