Our aim is to brew beer
that we enjoy
Keep it re'ale

Our Story

Dhillon’s Brewery, an award-winning microbrewery situated in Coventry in the heart of the Midlands, was founded in 2015 with one goal in mind – To Keep It Re’Ale.

Our commander-in-chief Mr Dhillon had a dream of brewing beautifully crafted beer and started building his team to achieve this. Joined by Pedro our Head Brewer with a wealth of experience in the brewing industry, and with Gordon taking control of Sales and Marketing, the journey commenced.

Our passion is producing the most exciting, beautifully crafted ales with a slight hint of madness! Equipped with a variety of traditional and modern brewing methods, our creative combinations are complimented by a contemporary, edgy approach to achieving our goals.

As with any other business, we’ve faced obstacles along the way – for example, what should we call this new icon in brewing history? Dhillon’s Brewery…perfect!!

Are you wondering how the Dhillon’s Lion came into existence? Well wonder no more, it’s actually the Dhillon family emblem – and with that final element of heritage, Dhillon’s Brewery roared into life!

Our Aim

We are happy to announce that we are part of the Coventry City of Culture 2021 bid and our aim is put Coventry on the beer map, pint by pint! We’re very loyal to our city, passionate about our local community, and have a huge interest in supporting local businesses and causes close to our hearts.

One of our disappointments this year was that Coventry City FC had to move to St. Andrews, home of Birmingham City, a challenge for all involved. Dhillon’s Brewery decided to organise coaches for fans to and from St. Andrews to show our appreciation and support for our local team. We’ve also been proud sponsors of our local rugby teams in the past year, which we are hoping to increase into double figures this season.

We aim to be a local hub where local artists can come and showcase their talents in our Tap House, be a home to local businesses and their workers with live events and entertainment, and above all to keep producing the most exciting craft ales with our hint of madness!

Join us

At Dhillon’s Brewery, we are always looking to work with like-minded lunatics who are just as enthusiastic about our craft as we are.

If you would like to work with us, get in touch and join us for a pint at our tipplers fortress.
The best ideas in the world were thought of after a pint or two.

Dhillon's brewery in the community

We love getting involved in the community.

We sponsor: Nuneaton Football Club, Old Coventrians Rugby Club, Coventrians Rugby Club, Warwick University including Warwick Real Ale Collaboration Brew and Warwick Comedy.

We also strive to improve our sustainabilty. We supply Birch Tree Farm with Grains to feed their cows and with hops to fertilize their lawn, we also use biodegradable plastic pint glasses and other materials where we can.

Since Covid

Since covid, We have invested into a second bar and three outdoor bars, two outdoor wooden shelters and a Perspex roof to protect customers from the elements including indoor and outdoor heaters.
We provide a range of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages including street food provided by various street food vendors.
We have regular conversations and visits from CCFC’s match day Police Liaison Officers to encourage a safe environment for the whole family. We also strategically built toilets central to whole venue increasing accessibility, easy access from outside (wooden structures) the Brewery and from inside.

We have also made other improvements such as to the Brewery- Dhillon’s Brewery has invested in improving the Tap House, during lockdown we invested in new brewing equipment. We restructured the layout of the whole Brewery to maximise the space for the new equipment. We have added ground floor toilets which has increased accessibility.
We have also improved our Technology- We have upgraded our sound system to improve sound quality, new indoor and outdoor speakers including lighting. We have invested in a cinema size screen and two outdoor screens to make sure that customers do not miss a thing. There is a live camera feed that can be projected to the outdoor screens, Dhillon’s Brewery is designed to make sure that customers do not miss a moment of the action.

What our awesome patrons are saying...

We sponsor the best pre-match drink venue I’ve been to. Hidden away near the Ricoh, far enough to be pretty quiet and close enough to consider another couple of pints. Beer is top class, drinking area is warehouse chic. Can you open one in Maidenhead please?!

Matt Woods

Very friendly people running this superb local asset. Tried a couple of the beers now and have some bottles to try of the others in the range. Recommend to all ale lovers!

Phlip Sephton

Really quirky venue, seated in the warehouse. Karaoke and a pool table available. Good range of drinks!

Kerri Marsh

Just been for one of their open nights. Fantastic place and great beer. Especially like the Red IPA – will visit again!
