We are Hiring – Assistant Brewer

We presently have an opportunity for a passionate, self-motivated Assistant Brewer.

Dhillon’s  Brewery is delighted to offer an exceptional, exciting opportunity for a young Individual to come and join our brewing team to assist and learn the exclusive skills required to make high-quality craft beer.

You don’t need experience, only a determination to learn.

As an Assistant Brewer, you will be involved in all parts of the beer production process as well as all warehouse operations.

It is important that you enjoy handy work and that you are prepared to do a job which may be physically challenging with heavy lifting at times ( be able to lift 25 kg bags to the level of the head), some work will be outside. Also going inside tanks to clean. It’s important to be flexible in hours as well.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Helping in the brewing process
• Efficient cleaning, management and usage of brewing equipment and facilities
• Correctly record and sign off all paperwork for various stages of brewing day and operations
• Take responsibility and maintain the highest quality of product output.
• Check and sign for relevant deliveries
• Competently carry out and understand given instructions from head brewer/brewery manager.
• Follow provided Health & Safety regulations in accordance with HACAP folder. This will include brewing, processing, cask racking, kegging, monitoring material, ingredients and production levels, Packaging into cask, keg & bottle.
• Assisting the Head Brewer throughout the brewing process, Beer brewing – operating and monitoring brewery equipment, General warehouse and cellar duties, Quality control of the beer, Managing stock control, Receiving and handling raw materials, Cleaning and sterilising vessels, casks, and production area.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, Cleaning casks & kegs.
